Day one Country team starts with a 3.30am wake up call, 6 hour drive and beautiful scenery. A team of 10 split from the other volunteers this morning.... leaving Phnom Penh and jumping int a mini bus for a 6 hour drive to Stung Treng. 

This location is a province of Cambodia located in the northeast. Is very remote, and sits along the side the provinces of Ratanakiri to the east, Mondulkiri and Kratie to the south and Kampong Thom and Preah Vihear to the west. It is where the beginning of the Mekong river is. 

The drive was long, many of us slept the first few hours awaking to a pit stop with squat toilets, and no coffee.
