 Congratulations on taking the step to find out more information about joinHair Aid Inc. Thailand Project in March 2019!

This is our FIRST project in Thailand, and we are expecting to have 20 on the team! 

Here's the low down on the project

Dates: Project runs from 18th – 22nd March 2019. You will need to be in Thailand by Sunday 17th March 2019, for team training and cultural inductions. You can leave after Friday 7pm 22nd March 2019. Flights can be extended if you want to stay longer. I’m advising that if you choose to fly the Friday night, make it a late flight as you won’t want to miss the graduation celebrations Friday and you need to leave time to get to the airport as well through traffic.

Where: Training locations will be in and around Bangkok, within an approximate daily taxi drive of 30 – 40 mins from our accommodation.

Who: Volunteer hairdressers and beauticians and supporters, teaching women in critical poverty how to cut hair and do manicure/pedicures. All volunteers are housed in the same accommodation.  Volunteers will be in teams of 2-4 and will travel to locations daily as a group. 

Costs: $AUD2,000 

    Fundraising: Hair Aid Inc. is a registered charity with tax deductible status. Fundraising activities can be conducted to raise the costs of the project.  All types of fundraising can occur from crowdfunding, to events, to raffles! I can send you an overview of what I do if required.

    What is included: Accommodation, resource purchases, ground transport, project insurance, team tshirts & cap/hat, administration and logistics costs (project facilitation and management, graduation certificates, location costs, etc).

    What is not covered: Return flights, personal medical insurance (must have), food, drink/s, personal items, travel to/from airports at home town.

    Payment Options

    You can either pay in full via credit card or PayPal. 


    To pay off your trip over time, we have a PUT IT ON LAYBUY option.  There is a minimum of 20% deposit and set monthly installments which you set depending on how long you would like to pay it off. There is a 1.9% admin fee of the total cost which is paid on the first transaction.

    You do have the option of paying off early if you decide too. Please email if you would like to.
