One cut at a time: Hair Aid delivers valuable hair cutting skills to people living in poverty
Four hairdressers from Lismore in northern New South Wales are travelling to Cambodia next month to donate their time and skills to the Australian charity Hair Aid.
Peta Tillett is closing her salon Lazuli & Co for two weeks and with apprentice Brittney Webster, senior stylists Melissa Eakin and Kaela McRae, will teach hairdressing skills mostly to women who have been rescued from the sex trade and drug trafficking rings.
Listen to Ms Tillett speak to Kim Honan about the five-day course designed to empower participants.
